Dr. Andrew M. Segelnick is a dedicated dentist serving patients in Coral Springs, Florida. He is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered dental care and helping individuals and families maintain healthy smiles for years to come.

Dr. Segelnick believes that good oral health begins with prevention and education. He takes the time to help patients understand proper brushing and flossing techniques, the importance of regular professional cleanings, healthy gums, and the daily habits that contribute to long-term dental health. His approach focuses on making dental care understandable and comfortable while addressing each patient's individual needs.

Regular dental visits are an important part of maintaining optimal oral health. For many patients, a dental examination and cleaning every six months—twice a year—can help identify potential concerns early and support healthy teeth and gums. Depending on a patient's oral health and individual circumstances, Dr. Segelnick may recommend additional examinations, tests, or more frequent visits when appropriate.

Dr. Segelnick received his education at the University of Florida and Temple University's Kornberg School of Dentistry, and went on to complete an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) program at Nova Southeastern University, further developing his expertise in comprehensive general dental care.

You Asked, We Answered!

Our team takes pride in being a resource for parents on all things children's dentistry. If you have a question about your little one's growing smile, don't hesitate to reach out — and in the meantime, here are the questions we hear most.

When should my child first see a dentist?

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that a child visit the dentist by their first birthday, or within six months of their first tooth coming in. Early visits are short, gentle and friendly — they help us spot concerns before they grow and help your child feel completely at home in our Boca Raton office.

How often should my child come in?

It's ideal to visit every 6 months, or twice a year, unless additional tests suggest a more serious problem that needs closer monitoring. These regular checkups let us clean growing smiles thoroughly, apply protective treatments and give you personalized advice on brushing and flossing at home.

How do I get emergency dental care for my child?

If your child has a painful toothache, has knocked out a tooth, or is experiencing persistent sensitivity, call our team right away at (954) 623-3706. We'll ask a few questions to understand their symptoms and do our best to see them the same day when treatment can't wait. If your child has a fractured jaw, trouble breathing, or uncontrolled bleeding, call 911 or go to the ER immediately.

How can I help my child avoid cavities?

Brush twice a day for two minutes with a fluoride toothpaste, floss once daily, and keep sugary drinks and sticky snacks to a minimum. Dr. Segelnick offers practical advice on proper brushing, flossing, cleaning and healthy gums at every visit, so the habits stick long after you leave our office.
